The founder of T.I.C. America is Hiro Utsu. Hiro is a seasoned entrepreneur who has focused on international commerce for over a decade. He has developed and sold consumer and business-to-business products in Japan, China, Taiwan, Germany, Chile, and the United States. Before founding T.I.C. America, Hiro held leadership positions at Marubeni Specialty Chemicals and Mitsui Plastics, both Japan-based trading companies with offices in New York. Hiro has lived in Japan and Canada, but for the past 17 years the U.S. has been his home.

Beyond his entrepreneurial accomplishments, Hiro also is an avid surfer, hockey player, and former golden gloves boxing champion. He attended Seijo University in Tokyo, Japan and earned his MBA at the Thunderbird American Graduate School of International Management.
